Email Mailinglist für Akrobaten
Es existiert bereits die internationale holländische Mailinglist für Akrobaten, organisiert vom holländischen NAF (National Akrobatiek Federation).
Eine zweite Mailinglist führt wahrscheinlich nur zu doppelten Mails (ArtistNet plant demnächst eine zusätzliche Mailinglist für professionelle Artisten)
Die Mailinglist wird von Annemiek v.d. Berg (advberg@knoware.nl) geführt und existiert seit 1996. Sie wurde eingerichtet für Akrobaten und Akrobatik-Interessierte als Medium für den Austausch von Neuigkeiten und Nachrichten über Aktivitäten, Treffen, Workshops, Techniken, interessante Internet-Seiten, Nicht-Kommerzielle Kleinanzeigen (z.B. Lehrer gesucht..) und alles andere, was euch wichtig erscheint.

Akrobatik im Aufwind? Fusion Akro und Turnerei:
Mit dem Hintergedanken, eine olympische Disziplin zu werden (in Osteuropa und Asien gucken die Leute sowieso lieber Akrobatik als Turnen) fusionierte zum 1. Januar 1999 der Sportakrobatik Weltverband IFSA mit dem Internationalen Turnerbund FIG. Mit dieser Masse hat hat die Akrobatik mehr Chancen, als Turndisziplin bei Olympia eingeführt werden. Für Deutschland stehen mit demselben Zweck Gespräche des Deutschen Sportakrobatik-Bunds DSAB (10000 Mitglieder) mit dem Deutschen Turnerbund DTB (10 Mio Mitglieder) an.
Anm.: Sportakrobatik wird bei der nächsten Olympiade vorgestellt, was gemeinhin eine
Aufnahme als olympische Disziplin wahrscheinlich macht.

Liebe Freunde und Interessenten der AKROBATIK-Zeitung,
Dazu kommt leider, daß durch die relativ kleine Auflage die Film&Druckkosten pro Ausgabe bei fast 4,50 DM liegen, weiter darf ich eigentlich gar nicht rechnen...
Damit wurde leider klar, daß es keine weitere AKROBATIK in der bisherigen Form geben konnte. Auf der Suche nach einer Lösung kam dann ein email von Gabi Keast von der KASKADE (das europäische Jongliermagazin, Anm. d. Verf.), und eine paar Treffen und etliche Tassen Kaffee später war eine Lösung geboren:
Die KASKADE nicht mehr nur als europäisches Jongliermagazin, sondern mit eigenem Akrobatikteil, noch viel mehr Infos und Termine rund um Akrobatik, Jonglage, Einrad, Workshops etc., und das alle drei Monate, also wesentlich aktueller als in der AKROBATIK.
Ich denke, daß das ist für uns alle eine sehr gute Lösung ist. (Aus Akrobatensicht könnte man auch sagen, daß die AKROBATIK jetzt endlich vierteljährlich erscheint, zusätzlich über Jonglage, Einrad und mehr berichtet und den Namen geändert hat...)
Wer gerne 1/4jährlich ausführliche Berichte, Termine und Workshops zur Akrobatik (und vielen anderen artistischen Themen) im Briefkasten haben will, einfach mal das Ergebnis der Zusammenarbeit in der neuesten Kaskade anschauen.

Abschließend noch mal Entschuldigung für die Durststrecke beim Warten auf die nächste Akrozeitung, aber wie schon gesagt, es war einfach nicht mehr zu schaffen. Ich habe sie ja seit der ersten Ausgabe ´94 maßgeblich mitgestaltet und hätte es wirklich gerne weiterermöglicht, aber diese Lösung mit der Kaskade hat mich wirklich aufatmen lassen.
